Overview[]

The Hitman profession is a negative Karma profession located in Vinnie's Bar on the Third Island.

As a profession available early on, the Hitman profession can potentially net you large stat or $ bonuses.

Considering each Hitman shift lasting one hour, the likelihood of getting such bonuses is high. However, the risk of you being jailed or losing money is also quite high - so be wary and consider saving before working several shifts in a row.

Requirements[]

In order to work as a Hitman, the player must have at least 180 Strength and some negative Karma. Additionally, you can only work as a Hitman in the Evening and Night.

To get promoted, you have to increase your Strength and work at least 3 times per rank. You must also keep your Karma negative (even if it's just -1 Karma).

Trivia[]

  • The Hitman profession has one of the highest number of random events, with 14 total.
  • With 3 possible jail events, the Hitman profession is one of the riskiest to work - especially considering each Hitman shift only lasts 1 hour, it can be very tempting to spam work in hopes of getting a high $ bonus, only to end up in jail for 7 days.
    • This can however be used to your advantage if you are aiming for the Career Criminal trophy (going to jail at least 5x).
